About Stuart Miller

A specialist in internet sites and applications, I have almost a decade of commercially proven experience in designing, creating and managing high availability and high traffic e-commerce platforms, websites and web based on-demand applications for a variety of market sectors.

In the last decade I have been responsible for all aspects of development, recruitment and the management of multi-skilled development teams in office, home-working and offshore environments, working on Internet based projects from idea stage and taking them through to launch using cutting-edge open source technologies. I obtained a PRINCE2 Practitioner level project manager qualification in 2003 and use this as a basis on every project to ensure it’s on time and on budget. In November 2008 I left my previous position as IT Director of SkillsTrak Limited, a web based skills assessment platform provider, and began working for a range of clients in a contract or project capacity.

I’m often told that communication between the commercial and technical sides of a business is one of the most frustrating things that business owners face. Making your commercial needs understood and ensuring you get the result you’re looking for is problematic at best.

Almost all of my roles over the last decade have involved acting as a translator between these two areas – I’m very commercially focused as well as able to hold my own in a technical conversation.
